Best Credit Cards

#1 Schwab Credit Card

Schwab is the only credit card- to best of my knowledge- that offers 2% cash rebate for *every* purchases. There are no limits onhow much rebate you can earn and there is no annual fee.

What's the catch? In order for you to actually receive the rebate you must open schwab brokerage account. The rebate 'points' are transfered to Schwab brokerage account once a month. Schwab require just $1000 to open and maintain schwab brokerage account.

#2 Starwood/SPG AMEX Card

This hotel card is one of the best cards in the market. It is my favorite card and easily beats most if not all the airline credit cards. You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend and you can transfer points to most airlines at the rate of one to one. If you accumulate 20k points, they will throw in extra 5k points when transfering to airline mileage programs. You can stay in 4 star hotels in NYC for about 12k points without any black-out dates and there's no advance purchase requirements. I have used points in Westin and W Hotels in New York City when room rates were mid $400 dollars (over $500 including tax) during the peak season. During off-peak seasons, Starwood often offer "Points & Cash" promotions where you can get substantial discount to rooms for several thousand points.

Annual fee is $45 which is waived for the first year. 10,000 point with first purchase.

#3 Penfed Visa Platinum Credit Card
This is another great card offered by Pentagon Federal Credit Union. I use it mainly for gasoline but it is also great for other purchases as well.

•Earn 5.00% cash back from gas purchases paid at the pump
•Earn 2% cash back on supermarket purchases
•Earn 1.25% cash back for all other purchases
There's no annual fee. However, you must become a Penfed member to apply for the credit card.
Here's information on how you can join.
